Basic Introduction of AIRTAC Solenoid valves

The AIRTAC solenoid valve (solenoid valve) is an industrial device controlled by electromagnetism. It is an automated basic component used to control fluids and belongs to the actuator, not limited to hydraulics and pneumatics. It is used in industrial control systems to adjust the direction, flow rate, speed and other parameters of the medium. Solenoid valves can be combined with different circuits to achieve the expected control, and both the accuracy and flexibility of the control can be guaranteed. There are many types of solenoid valves, and different solenoid valves play different roles in different positions of the control system. The most commonly used ones are check valves, safety valves, directional control valves, speed control valves, etc.

The classification methods of AIRTAC solenoid valves

Select the switching mode of the valve according to the working status

A.2 Position Single coil: After power-off, the valve core returns to its original position (such as 4V210);

B.2 Position Double-coil: Whichever end is powered, the valve core can be positioned on that side. After power-off, the valve core returns to its original position (such as 4V220).

C.3 Position (normally closed) Double coil: When neither end is powered, the valve core's functional position is closed in the middle. The valve core's functional position is on the side where power is supplied. After power-off, the valve core returns to its original position (such as 4V230C).

D. 3 Position (Normally open type) Double coil: When neither end is powered, the valve core's functional position is in the middle, the air inlet is closed, and the pressure inside the cylinder is discharged to the atmosphere. The valve core's functional position is on the side where power is supplied (such as 4V230E).

E.3 Position (pressurized type) double coil: When neither end is powered, the valve core's functional position is in the middle. The air inlet simultaneously connects to the interfaces at both ends of the cylinder. The valve core's functional position is on the side where power is supplied (such as 4V230P).

Directional control valves can be classified by category

A. Solenoid valves (2V series, 3V series, 4V series, 4M series, VF series, SY series, Q22/Q23XD series);

B. Water valves, steam valves (2W series water valves, 2L/US series steam valves);

C. Manual valves (3H series hand-operated valves, 4H series hand-operated valves, 3R series hand-pulled valves, 4R series hand-pulled valves, HV series hand-turned valves);

D. Mechanical valves (MOV series, JM series, MSV series);

E. Pneumatic control valves (3A series, 4A series, VFA series);

F. One-way throttle valve (RE series);

G. Quick Exhaust Valve (QE series);

H. Foot pedal valves (FV series, 4F series);

I. Solenoid valve coil, valve plate;
