1.Check the manufacturer datasheet/instrument nameplate. Confirm the solenoid valve voltage/current ratings.
2.Check the solenoid valve port configuration, like NO(Normal Open) or NC(Normal Closed).
3.The hook-up instrument as per the typical test set-up shown above.
4.Apply air specified set pressure to inlet port of valve and connect the power supply 12V or 24V DC to solenoid valve terminals.
5.Switch on power supply, check the valve energize by monitoring the test gauge pressure.
6.Switch off the supply, and confirm the valve de-energized, check test gauge pressure again.
7. Tabulate all results in the Check Sheet.
