There are several types of finger pneumatic cylinders
Pneumatic finger cylinders can achieve various grasping functions and are key components of modern pneumatic manipulators.
The features of the finger cylinder are:
1. All structures are double-acting, capable of bidirectional grasping, automatic centering, and have high repeatability accuracy.
2. The grasping torque is constant;
3. Non-contact travel detection switches can be installed on both sides of the cylinder.
4. There are multiple installation options. Connection method;
5. Low gas consumption.
There are three commonly used forms of pneumatic finger cylinders:
As shown in Figure a, it is a swing-type finger cylinder. There is a cross pin shaft on the crossbar of the piston rod. Since the finger ear shaft is connected to the cross pin shaft, the fingers can move simultaneously and be automatically centered, ensuring that the grasping torque is always constant.
2. As shown in Figure b, it is a rotary finger cylinder, whose action is similar to the meshing principle of a rack and pinion. The finger is connected to the gear, and the rack pushes the gear and rotates the finger. Two fingers can rotate simultaneously and automatically center, ensuring that the grasping torque remains constant at all times.
3. As shown in Figure c, it is a parallel finger cylinder. There is a cross pin shaft on the piston rod. The fork is connected to the cross pin shaft and drives the finger to run parallel. The two forks are connected to the same cross-pin shaft to ensure simultaneous movement and automatic centering.
What brands of pneumatic finger cylinders are there
